Many people have already seen this as it was on the forum yesterday; we were sort of up in the air as to when to write about it but Jesse's own post came about first:

I will clear up any misconceptions about my departure from IPS since the Internet is one big rumor mill..

Yes-I have left Innerpartysystem, Why- because honestly, at this moment in time, I am not happy with my role in the band and have become unsatisifed and unmotivated. Friendships have not been lost or damaged, which is one of, if not the most important thing here.

Yes- I will be leaving for England in early April to get excited about music again, explore myself and my craft and to gain experience in the electronic music scene that is so alive and well there. I'll see you soon Bristol :)

That's about as clear cut of an answer i can give you. I appreciate everyone's support in my decision.

Meanwhie, things here at the IPS house have been moving along. New songs are progressing, new things are being built, neighbor's ears are not being spared. At all.

Many things are afoot here in Mohnton. I must apologize for the lapse in time since the last update. I had to clear sometime out of my schedule to make a couple of bucks. Unfortunately, that couple of bucks was made by temp working in a seafood warehouse. Yes, that's right, you haven't read any new innerpartysystem news for almost a month because Jared was sorting mussels, and shoveling fish guts. Well, those days are over, and the day of the IPS teaser is now among us.
